Wraping up the week with some crazy coats

Knitting a coat is a huge undertaking, especially a full-length one.  It requires an enormous amount of yarn and time, so it's likely something you plan on wearing quite often during the winter months.

So why in the world would you make this? Unless you are a clown, I'm thinking it's not going to go with very much of your wardrobe... unless you have a time machine in your basement and take a trip back to 1972 perhaps.

And one to really take us into the weekend with a BANG! And I mean BANG because this coat looks like a fireworks show exploded all over it. So, unless you are starring in a production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (yes, I'm a Broadway musical geek of sorts), might I suggest choosing a slightly more toned-down coat pattern for your next project.
